So, my dentist appointment went well. My experiences of Dr. Ryan Venier are very different than other people I know. He was very nice and the filling didn't hurt at all (it's getting a little painful now that the freezing is coming out but that's normal, right?) I have another appointment for Thursday when he will push something into another tooth to see if it's a cavity or just the geography of my tooth. That does not sound comfortable! Apparently, if it's a cavity, the pointy little thing will slide right in *shudder*. For a girl who has never had a cavity before, this whole experience is a little scary!
Joe saw his second specialist today, the one who has "pioneered" bicep reconstruction in Abu Dabi. The receptionist who told me that was way off! He has never operated on this type of injury beyond the two week window. He is a pectoral specialist; that is the surgery he pioneered up to 12-18 months after the fact. But, maybe that knowledge can be transferred to Joe's bicep? Dr. Wickham will look into the surgery and see Joe in 2 weeks, once he's researched the injury and options.
Other than that, it's a week of school and asignments ... only 1 month and 2 days until I'm done my degree! :)
