I've resisted the T-3's for over a week and just lived with the pain of my fractured ribs because I thought it was better for James. Now, the fourth doctor I've seen in 8 days has told me that if I don't take the Tylenol 3s I won't get better. Apparently my breathing is too shallow because of the pain and so the ribs aren't healing and I'm risking a collapsed lung and pneumonia. I'm glad we live in Canada where my wimpyness allows me to exploit the medical system and go to 4 different doctors a total of 5 times last week (both for my ribs and my concussion). :P
I was even told by one doctor, "don't be a hero, take the medication". *L* If you know me, you know I am far from being any kind of hero ... I'm a complainer, not a hero! ;)

I agree with the "don't be a hero"...i tried it with Ben for the same reason. I didn't want to take meds while nursing. That was the time my ear infection got so bad, my eardrum burst. I think cracked ribs sounds pretty serious. I am glad you are taking something. Get better soon.
